LegalTerms of use
The agreement between you and Waveko when you use our platform or free tools. Please read it before you create an account.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Waveko platform or free tools, you agree to these terms. If you are using Waveko on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. The service
Waveko provides offline-first budget and cost software for live events, along with free production tools. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your password secure. You must not share your login or let others use your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Plans & billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance in GBP, and prices exclude VAT unless stated.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- We may change pricing with reasonable notice, which will take effect at your next renewal.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using Waveko.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
- Reverse engineer or copy the service except as allowed by law.
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
6. Your data
You keep all rights to the budget and production data you put into Waveko. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. We handle personal data as set out in our privacy policy, and you can export your data at any time.
7. Free tools
The production tools (Truck Pack, the LED Wall Calculator and the AV Power Calc) are provided free of charge as helpful estimates. They are not professional engineering advice. You are responsible for verifying figures — especially weight, power and rigging — against your own equipment, venue limits and qualified advice before relying on them.
8. Intellectual property
Waveko, its software, design and brand are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you beyond the right to use the service while your account is active and in good standing.
9. Availability
We work to keep Waveko available and reliable, and the offline engine is designed to keep working even without a connection. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may carry out maintenance from time to time.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Waveko is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You can stop using Waveko and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, you may export your data within a reasonable period as described in our privacy policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where local consumer law gives you other rights.
13. Contact
